Joel Loxton is an award-winning Director, Writer, Editor, and Teacher best known for his award-winning short film, THE KANGAROO GUY, a political satire about a young MP who discovers how to use the power of “truth” in the media. Joel is a Graduate of both AFTRS and the VCA. After graduating with a Master’s in film and television, Joel worked as a Senior Lecturer at a local film school as well as a freelancer. After 2021, Joel left his role in academia to pursue his directing work.
